Villefranche-sur-Mer (France)

An independent blog about a town in the southeast corner of France, bordering on the Mediterranean Sea. Our aim is to report, in English, on the life of this place, its people and visitors, and whatever we think seems interesting or notable as we learn and try to understand.

Who is behind this?

Only one person so far. My name - Terry MAGUIRE - and a little about me appears below. Suffice it to say that I have been visiting Villefranche for nearly 30 years, have owned one home there, and now live several months each year on the hill between Villefranche and Nice. I am committed to doing only one thing here: telling a fair and accurate series of stories about people and places in and around Villefranche-sur-Mer.
